Let the School Year Begin [PLOT THREAD, Open to Tengoku-Teki Attendees]

[Minor Tarot]

As students began to shuffle into the dark auditorium, a figure, hidden in the dark shadows of the rafters, watched them all, with a dark grin on her face. This was a perfect idea... to have so many people in one space would certainly grant them many Fortune Keys. She could hardly wait. Teenagers were so easy to scare and control. If there was anything they hated most was to have people tell them what to do, and that is what would happen if she were to obtain these keys

Once the auditorium was full and quieted down, came the speeches. After the head of Tengoku-Teki made their announcement, the principal came up next.

"Hello high-school students of Tengoku-Teki. It is my pleasure to welcome you all back to a fresh start of the new school year!" there was clapping from the students. "Education can be likened to a great big canvas and this year we would like our students to throw as much paint as they can on the canvas of their education. This year I have no doubt that our students will throw themselves into their education, they will make the most of the canvas of opportunity that they are offered and they will paint the goals that they aspire to. I have no doubt that if they remain motivated in the classroom, then they will achieve their goals.  Their education is sound, creative and innovative and Tengoku-Teki, together with the parents and the students themselves, will help to make this a reality,"*

[Milad Atsiel]

Like the other faculty at Tengoku-Teki, Milad was currently standing off to the side, on display for all of the students to see. She really didn't care much for the principal or her fellow teachers, but she had to at least pretend she was interested in what her employer had to say. However she had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. Milad attributed it to having a long distance chat with her husband via bracelet, but that had nothing to do with school. Maybe she was dreading working with bratty human teenagers. Hopefully they wouldn't be as bad as bratty demon teenagers, but she wasn't hopeful at all.

Milad used every ounce of her royal training to not yawn in the middle of the principal's speech. She was sure that as soon as they left this school, the bulk of the students would end up working as 9 to 5 salarymen who used their meager paychecks to drink double their weight in rice wine. Maybe her brother would finally realize that his place was with humans such as these and stay here on this planet. She didn't want to have to deal with him and his attitude once she got home, in addition to her husband, children, other siblings and her father. She could already feel the headache forming...

[Aki Hoshikita]

As Aki shuffled into the auditorium, she quickly found herself a place to sit right beside one of her female classmates. Goodness! What a weird morning. At least she made it in time. She wasn't one to enjoy being tardy.

"Thanks for saving me a seat. There was this real jerk that I bumped into earlier... I'll tell you about it later," she whispered to a few of the girls. Well at least it was done. Yeah, they were in the same class, but so were a bunch of other people. She'd be able to have minimal contact with him. Besides she had more important things to focus on. After all, it was a new school year, which meant it was time for her to start making some new goals. She had a few in mind already, but she wasn't even really sure how she'd go about doing it...

The auditorium then became quiet as the lights dimmed and the principal of the high school appeared on the stage and started his speech. It wasn't particularly exciting or new, but Aki did feel fired up already. Yes! She would just have to paint on the canvas of opportunity! Whatever that meant! It was very poetic sounding either way.

[Dune Nazakato]

Crap. All his classmates were clear....up wherever they were, and Dune wasn't going to take the time to find them. The red head tossed small handfuls of peanuts into his mouth as he found a place to sit; reluctantly snagging a seat at the end of a row near a bunch of girls. Soon after he sat down the auditorium dimmed and the speeches began, though Dune continued to quietly chomp away on the vending machine bag of peanuts. "Oh man, this just. Sucks." There were thousands of better ways to spend his day! Hell, Dune would've rather been in class. Or pestering the Kickboxing club into letting him be their captain, but only because the current was nothing but a pansy! "Hurryup.Hurryup.Hurryup."

[Minor Tarot]

Ugh this was so BORING! Cupula couldn't stand it anymore! Anymore of these speeches and she'd blow a gasket! Well, if that was the case, then she should put her emotions to good use! She wasn't a tarot of emotions and feelings for nothing after all!

"Hiya!" she yelled as kicked the principal out of the way and stood up straight in front of the podium, replacing the little old man. She was a blue-skinned youma, with shells covering her strategic areas, and octopus tentacles for hair.

"No more of this blah blah stuff! I'm feeling fed up! Just give me your Fortune Keys already! You can call me Cupula! Ace of Cups! For those of you feeling a bit bored, how about some Apathy Stigma!" she then summoned a golden cup And from it, a slew of bubbles popping here and there in an attempt to slow people down to a sluggish state.

[Eridani Atsiel]

Eridani had been late, not wanting to take part in these festivities. Feeling that the way humans celebrated was nothing to take part of. He stood in the doorway that lead down to seats of the auditorium. It was full, which for some reason surprised him. Though once he had shown up, things didn't take long to change...

Actually clapping his hands as the president was kicked out of the way of the podium, maybe human celebrations weren't so bad. His clapping slowly died as he realized that he was the only person clapping. Party poopers. Scowling as he realized that perhaps this wasn't part of the plan. What was this thing?

"Fortune Keys?" Eridani asked himself as bubbles flew from the cup to leech down onto the students. There was no reason for him to jump in just yet. He was sure Milad was down there somewhere, she could do something about her precious school. The prince folded his arms across his chest and leaned against the frame of the doorway, watching with curiosity.

[Keni Umutemi]

Keni sighed as he followed the rest of the students to the auditorium, having to deal with a gaggle of girls following him. Keni paid them no mind, instead picking a seat that was somewhat isolated, until at least 15 girls sat all around him. Keni had on a loose gray shirt with loose black pants, and his usual belt, headband, and fingerless gloves. He settled into his seat and prepared himself for a bit of a nap. However, just as he was starting to doze off, something exciting happened. Some... monster... knocked the principal out of the way, before saying something about "Fortune Keys" and then summoning a cup and sending bubbles out. After seeing a few people fall asleep when the bubbles hit, Keni knew something was up. As a bubble headed toward him, he stood up in his seat and easily lept out of the way of the attack. He then assumed a ready stance from Muay Thai, facing the monster down. "I don't know who you are, but you'd better stop the attack, unless you're cruisin' for a bruisin'!" Keni said. He had no qualms about making the threat, as the monster had technically made the first move, and one of them had almost hit him... Keni surveyed the area. With many of the students clearing the way out, there was plenty of room for him to navigate. Now, if he could just get in close... Keni then realized... Did this monster even have any pressure points for him to take advantage of? Probably not... to bad he'd never really cared for the weaponry part of Lua or his other martial arts studies. Well, he'd have to go hand-to-hand with this thing. Keni glared at the monster with fierce determination, daring it to attack again.

[Sophie Holman]

Sophie walked in through the door and noticed there was something weird going on. Wait, was this a monster attack? She hesitated for a few minutes. This is exactly what caused her to produce that tornado and destroy her hometown. She had no idea how it had happened or how she could do it again, if she ever could.

She slowly stepped down a few steps, trying to edge her way closer. She didn't really want to fight when she didn't know much about it, but she wanted a closer look. She'd never really seen any monsters quite like this one. She was simply curious.

But if it tried to attack, she would back away. She didn't want to cause anything really bad to happen. Not like a monster attack wasn't bad, but she didn't want to make it any worse. She stood there waiting to see if she could move any closer.

[Aki Hoshikita]

"Gah!" It took a moment for the red-head to realize what was going on, before she attempted to duck behind the seats as the creature threw out it's attack. Was this... a youma!? But there hasn't been a youma in Crystal Tokyo in Years! What was going on here?

Suddenly she felt a warmth around her wrist. When she looked down, she noticed her bracelet was glowing. That's right! Her henshin item! As other students ran around, crawled in between the seats before she found a pillar to hide behind. Okay... she could do this. With a big sigh to control her breathing she lifted her hand in the air.

"Lyra Constellation Power... Make-Up!" With a suddenly flash of light, the red-head had transformed.

"Oh wow... it worked..." the said, looking her outfit over. She really was a senshi. And now... it was time to show this creature who was boss!

She stepped back out from the pillar and then pointed at the youma. "Hey you! That's right! How dare you try to harm a bunch of students on their first day of school! You're going to pay for that! In the name of Sailor Lyra, constellation of music, I will defeat you"

It felt oddly natural being in this form. As though she was meant for it her entire life... she was going to make her mother proud! She wouldn't let her down!

[Dune Nazakato]

First there was boring-ness going on. Then a youma appeared. A. Y.O.U.M.A. Which meant attacks...In the forms of bubbles?! In order to escape the onslaught of the bubbles, Dune rolled back out of his seat and managed to dart behind a nearby support pillar. "That a youma?! Haven't seen one of those in years...!" Wait...a youma meant that Dune could work off some of those frustrations that built up from the boring school life he now possessed.

The red head tugged at the deceptively durable silver thread that held together the henshin beads he wore upon his right wrist. "Ignite...Havoc!" Within a flash of red light, Dune was armed with his unearthly gauntlets and greaves. After changing he waited a few seconds for students to flee past him before darting out from behind the pillar and launching himself down towards the podium from where the youma launched its attacks! Of course, the red head snuck a glance at a Senshi who had also emerged during the chaos.

Well at least he wasn't alone in this.
