Out and About, with a Tad of Shopping

It was a warm day for spring in Crystal Tokyo but this was not going to stop, this woman from getting her supplies she needed for painting, new music sheets, shovels, and of course to finish it all off, some bath salts. She ran out last night and she can't go without those, so off to the downtown district it was. It had been some time since she arrived here, the academy was flourishing and she was at an all time high today.

Walking down the walkway, she peered into a few stores, window shopping for next week. She wanted to get some new things for the court yard, it need a bit of 'spring' touch up, but nothing was popping up. The white haired headmistress carried her few things she bought from the painting store, she was on her way to the bath store. Enter the building she was greeted by the shop owner, she bowed her head slightly with a small, walking to the back left hand corner of the store, looking at the shelves of colored bath salts, she puckered her lips slightly in thought, ”What should I pick this time? I am getting a bit tired of the rose petal and lavender...” her thoughts trailed off, as she picked up a sandalwood and sniffing the lid before wrinkling her nose and putting it back. She moved to a bright pink and blue, one called Cotton Candy, ”I defiantly don't want to smell like a piece of candy all day and night,” she sighed gently, looking up at a pastel rainbow colored one, picking it up, sniffing the lid. She was unsure what the smell was but it was almost intoxicating, looking back up at the rack, she placed that one inside her shopping bag to take to the check out after she picked out a few more, moving toward the area of just reds, she looked through the labels, picking out a strawberry scented one, taking a whiff, she puckered her lips again, ”I am not sure...” she sighed slightly, she loved coming here but when she got here she was always conflicted!

Ugh, she hated Crystal Tokyo. Yes, it had the trendy shops and cafes and was supposed to be in some 'Golden Age of Enlightenment', but there was something so 'high and mighty' about it. Too much trying to keep the peace. Kata didn't care much for that 'kumbaya' nonsense. No. Kata much preferred being in charge, ruling with an iron fist and having all of her peons bow down to her. Until then however, she'd just have to put up with it. After all, as she said before, it wasn't a complete bore. Crystal Tokyo had style and places to shop at the very least.

The blonde, with her large designer sunglasses, red dress, and black stilettos, found herself a bath store, that seemed to sell all the things that she enjoys; bath salts, oils, high end towels, milk baths... perfect.

Kata perused the shop, throwing everything she desired into her basket. Ugh, if only she had some sort of lackey to hold all these things. It would make her life so much easier. She would make note of this in the future.

As she approached the bath salts section, she of course, took whatever she deemed may be interesting. One thing that Crystal Tokyo did do right was have these little things called credit cards. She managed to swipe one off some guy before entering until she could get her own. Taking a few iris and lavender scented salts, she also decided to swipe the strawberry scented one from the white-haired woman's hands.

"I'll take it off your hands then, if you're so conflicted," she replied flatly before she moved onto the next section.

Kitty didn't notice the commotion that was buzzing around the shop, she was in tune with herself and her debate, but before she could go anymore into the process of putting them in her basket, some lady swiped the salts and she moved quickly before she was gone off into the next section. Kitty took notice of the model like figure rolling her eyes, these people thought that they had the rights to everything, ”What a bitch” she rolled off her tongue nice and easily, even if she did come back to fend herself which she knew she would because she read to be that type, easily. Kitty was always ready, she had to deal with these children and parents of some of these children, she could easily take on a fight, why she was head mistress after all.

Taking another strawberry salt from the shelf, she looked at the label this one seemed much better anyways, how could you do better then strawberry and chocolate. She moved to the lotion section next, looking for something that might be suitable for a gift but nothing seemed note worthy there. The store started to get busier, she figured it was because of that inconsiderate being from earlier.

Needless to say, Kata did her the comment. Now whether or not she actually is of course, not up for discussion. Of course she is. However, what Kata does not enjoy is people standing up to her, or of course, not treating her like she's right, because obviously she is all the time. All. The. Time. And she wasn't going to take it from some woman who clearly started getting white hair way too young.

She flipped her hair and laughed. "Oh please. I was doing you a favor. You were the one that was so uncertain. Now you're just getting it because I took yours. Typical," honestly, it was a waste of her time even just talking to this woman. She had things to buy. And Fortune Keys to take, especially now since there were more customers coming in. She knew that her first target was around here, but where is the question of course. The blonde couldn't be bothered chasing after them all over Crystal Tokyo. Then again... that is what they are for.

Of course he had to attend school on this planet. He certainly did not need the schooling. What he did not know, or disliked, he could get someone else to do for him. The nature of people was all he needed to understand. And, he supposed, there might be no better way than blending in with the youth of the system. Having to deal with teenagers, though? He'll have to escape from the noise somehow. Thank the stars above that Cystal Tokyo had some sort of sense when it came to their shopping districts. Mmmm, retail therapy.

The wood soles of his square-toed, black leather slip-ons made a very satisfying clacking sound as they hit the sidewalk during his stroll. His dark slim-cut jeans hugged his legs nicely, and the sleeves of his light grey button-up were rolled to just above his elbows; top three buttons undone. Chance found himself browsing through a bath supplies shop. He lifted his rectangular-shaped, turtleshell designer sunglasses from his face and placed them on top of his head, the other hand on the handle of a small shopping basket. Bath salts were calling to him, particularly some of the whites and greens. "...Mint and Cilantro. This is could prove useful," he mumbled to himself as he placed the jar of salts among a citrus shower gel, shampoo, and a coconut-vanilla lotion.

"... if you're so conflicted."
A quiet "What a bitch."
.... Oh no. Pleeease don't, he mentally urged the first voice, knowing all too well who it belonged to. But, nope! She went ahead an retaliated. Should he diffuse the situation? Chance knew that unchecked, Kata could do some regrettable things. Well, if she was capable of regret, they would be.

Chance decided it was for the best to interfere. This woman was not their target... today. And with more people entering the shop, a loud confrontation would not be in their best interest. He made his way to Kata's side, taking in her outfit and the contents of her basket. His lips turned up into a half-smile. "You don't strike me as a strawberry sort of person," he commented softly.

Kitty rolled her eyes ”Oh please, you are just like the rest of those scummy models, you think you are better then everyone else, but you are far worse off.” she tossed the bath salt into her basket, ” I actually found something better, thank you for taking that crummy stuff off my hands.” she moved toward the front of the store, ”Your the typical 'I am better then everyone model'” she waved her hand around mocking, before turning her head to look back at the woman, her eyes stern and hard, ”You don't scare me, I deal with worse.”

Her eyes went to the young male beside her, ”At least your son has some sense.” she turned back and headed toward the register, she had more things she needed to do today and this was not where she needed to be stuck, she also had to make sure the school was still under control, who knows what her underlings would do with her gone too long.

"I don't think I'm better than everyone else; I am," It was just a matter of fact. This woman can go and talk about how Kata is a model with a crummy attitude, but she knew that she was just jealous. They try to stand up to her, but really, they are just like everyone else. She could get rid of them with one fell swoop, and honestly she was considering it, until Chance arrived.

"Funny hearing a comment like that with a woman with white hair," she shot back. Though she did quickly glance in the mirror to make sure she wasn't getting any wrinkles... nope. Her face still was youthful and fabulous. Just as it needed to be. She didn't look like a mother. Ew. Children. Who would want something that demands more attention than her? Not unless she had a nanny. Even then so. No, Chance was more like a younger brother, if she had to choose a family member. Probably a cousin if some sort, if she took the time to look at their family trees.

Of course, Chance dared comment on her choices. Normally she would strike down anyone who dare comment on her choices, buuuuuuuuut... Chance actually does have some decent sense when it comes to hygiene and fashion. He was lucky that he wasn't overly imposing and frankly, not nearly as pretty as her. In short, he filled nearly every box that is required for her friendship, minus the making fun of those who are less fortunate than her. This could explain why Kata didn't have many friends.

The blonde shrugged slightly. "On occasion, I do like something sweet smelling, believe it or not. And other reaons," glared at the woman at the register. "You're welcome," See? Kata WAS right. That woman did choose a better scent when Kata decided to take it from her. Of course the woman had to be passive aggressive about it. TYPICAL. "What are you doing here anyways? Are you stalking me?"

Chance barely stifled a chuckle at the white-haired young woman's comment. Kata might smack him later for being amused, but he enjoyed the absurdity of the notion. A small smile played on his lips and he could only shake his head. To his surprise, Kata did not directly attack her debate partner. He hoped that she would not send a Minor Arcana after the woman later. An unapproved target would not earn her any points with The Teller. Then again, his ally was not really known for being a careful planner. "I suppose you do, from time to time... When it suits your needs," he replied to Kata.

When finally out of earshot, Chance mused, "Jealousy is unbecoming. She keeps her desires hidden and things boil over." He might encounter that woman in the future. Perhaps she can be a pawn in their plans. He just needed to get under her skin... He'll have to set up a table later and draw in some unsuspecting lambs.

"Not necessarily... I just felt waves of murderous intent coming from this place," he teased, rolling his eyes. "Really, I needed to step away from that academy. It's frustrating being in a place where few people have sense. Why was I even assigned there?"

Kitty rolled her eyes, ”Just like I said, YOU think you are.” she played these word games before with staff and students. Kitty perked an eye brow, ”Oh, so your jealous of my white, untainted hair. Thank you.” she gave a bit of a smirk, ”At least I don't have to be fake and can wear my hair as it is supposed to be pure, maybe if you looked around you would see people with a wide realm of colors, if you opened your eyes to see past your childish little brat of a nose.” People really though young looked better? To Kitty she looked like a little teenage wanna be dealer.

Rolling her eyes again, the whole Son thing shut the woman up for the moment, she would keep that logged into her mind for now, but seemed to make the boy amused. He either liked her or there was something more there, that she didn't have the time to figure out for now. She had other tasks at hand. Walking toward the door, her gut pulled at her, taking a deep breath she knew the peace was coming to the end, but why did it have to feel like a punch in the throat. Her kept herself held high, turning toward the South side of the shopping district, she mused for a moment to decide where to go next, skimming the list in her mind, the next stop was, the garden shop, maybe the flowers could help ease her mind from that wannabe woman.

"Pfft. My hair is natural," and even if it wasn't, it's still better than the alternative of white hair. Ew. So ew.

Why did jealous women think that Kata was a brat? She obviously wasn't. She was just very confident, yeah a little mean, but people who are lesser than her deserve it. So that's pretty much 95% of the galaxy. Honestly, they should be graced in her presence. She is truly that amazing. Regardless, this woman was going to pay. She didn't care at this point if she wasn't her target... she would find a way to destroy her. The woman left the shopping centre though, so she didn't have a need to attack her just yet.

She then turned to Chance as he replied to her questions. Ah yes, he was actually in school. Kata had been there, done that at one point in her life; was not in the mood to do it again.

"You know why you were assigned there," As much as the blonde hated children, she did know that they often had big dreams and big potential. Which possibly meant the right Fortune Keys to further their goal. "Try to have fun with it. They must have like... clubs or whatever students do," Kata only ever attended an academy when she was very young, then she was tutored. Not to mention Crystal Tokyo did things differently. Like mix poor people with those of noble blood. More ew.

"Speaking of assignments, I have been informed that our first target is in this store. We best pay her a little visit," There wasn't anything particularly interesting about her. A clerk at the counter who had big dreams of being an actress.

Chance crossed his arms over his chest. "Yes, fortunately there are faciltites to entertain myself. I chose Kouhai for a reason; they have a gymnastics club, at the very least," he replied. It was an activity that he genuinely enjoyed. Hopefully, club members and competitions would give him some sort of push... Wait, why did he even care? If everything worked out, he wouldn't be in that school for long.

He uncrossed his arms as Kata spoke of their target. He nodded in an "I know" sort of way and looked back over his shoulder towards the clerk. "Did you have a particular plan for her?" he inquired. He looked back at his teammate's basket. "Would you also like me to purchase those for you? Or are you having fun with the credit cards you 'found'?" he asked with a small smile. He was pretty familiar with how this princess went about her business.
