Forever yours and mine

Walking slowly through the area, a storm felt like it was going to start pouring at any moment, but knowing the chance it probably wasn't going to. She strolled quietly maybe she would pick up some flowers for the house, it might be needed. It was a bit gloomy in there but she almost liked it, just like this gray covered sky. Her pace slowed more as she reached a fountain, until she stood right in front of it. The fountain had a statue right in the middle of a Pegasus, the slate blue haired female looked up at it, with some curiosity, her eyes following the curves of the sculpture, like she was looking for a hair line fracture to see if something was inside it.

Pulling a piece of her hair behind her right ear, she slipped off her flats, lifted up part of her hi-low skirt and slipped her feet into the water. Standing there, she stood looking at the statue again, something she couldn't let go about it. She took a seat at the edge of the fountain rim, still staring at the majestic horse and the dark gray sky behind it, there was something but she couldn't put her finger on it, her eyes were deadlocked with the inanimate figure, behind her dark shades.

Jian took a deep breath as he walked through the park. Despite Crystal Tokyo having advanced technology, it still managed to keep very beautiful natural spaces within the city. It wasn't too hard to find a nice quiet place in the park to rest. Not today though. Well, today wouldn't have been the best to do so though; the wind was starting to pick up and the clouds were forming. It was best that he get home before it did fall.

As he walked down the path, he noticed a blue-haired woman of small stature sitting by the pegasus. While on a bright day he wouldn't' have thought twice, with the storm a brewing, it was a rare sight to see. She seemed quite entranced by the statue. Because of his studies, Jian was decently familiar with the history behind it.

He slowed down to a stop beside the woman and looked up at the Pegasus as well. "I've been told it was made for someone special in mind," he said. "That's what I've been told anyway,"

Runa's eyes stayed locked onto the statue it was almost like she was in a trance staring into the eyes of this Pegasus. Her mind was not on this plane anymore, she didn't realize the people coming and going around her, the people laughing and yelling. She didn't notice the stares she would have picked up on if not for this statue. Her feet swayed a bit in the water, this water wasn't as good as homes, nor was it as good as up in the cabin area, but it was cool and she wanted to cool off a bit, the muggyness was not of her taste.

She snapped back into reality after she heard words very near her. Looking toward the male, her eyes narrowed, she was not sure if she should say anything but he mentioned something about that statue, ”Excuse me?”she questioned, studying him quite hard, she was still trying to get used to the people here and the people who just come up and speak to you. She was not sure, but she looked back at the statue, her eyes looking at it more. She almost wished someone would make something special for her, but what was she kidding she did not have time for that, shaking her head she looked back up at the male, ”I am interested in knowing...”

Jian was actually surprised that the woman wanted to hear about the story. At least from him. He was sure she was going to tell him to buzz off or something. Well, since she was interested, he probably should tell her. He wasn't the most amazing story teller, but he'd try and probably sound incredibly cheesy along the way. He'd just have to think about it a bit.

"It was a long time ago back before Crystal Tokyo was what it was today. A Pegasus guardian of Earth, who protects a crystal and is powered by people's dreams, finds himself in trouble when someone wishes to place darkness over the world. However, a young princess comes to his rescue, and to her surprise, he is really a handsome young man. They of course, fall in love," he then looks back up at the statue. "However, because of their duties, they could not stay together for long. He had to return to his kingdom, and she had to return to hers. The young princess was very sad that she couldn't see him like before, but so she wouldn't forget him, the princess' mother and father had the statue built of him, so that if she ever got lonely, she could come here,"

He then looked back at the woman and scratched his head a bit. "... I'm not really good at this story telling stuff," Well, he thought so anyway. His sister would argue the opposite, but his sister was also biased.

The light blue haired female blinked as he started the story, looking up at the statue she could feel the passion and love in it, but there was something else pulling her towards it. It could be a key to the potion but she wasn't completely sure. Soon the clouds opened a little and it started to drizzle, Runa closed her eyes and lifted her head toward the sky, taking off her sunglasses and letting the rain pellet against her face.

It was refreshing, she didn't like the city it was clogging her pores, she was happy she didn't have gills that would have been even worse. Opening her eyes to look at the male as he finished mentioning not telling stories well, ”If you have a child you would say otherwise, they are the only ones that count when telling stories. Unless you are one of those ...uhm historic teachers?” she was unsure what exactly they were why they told hi story was beyond her. Her eyes taking in the surroundings and the sprinkle of the rain, they turned their attention back to the statue, ”That sounds like a very cliché love story... just like any other.” she peered hard at the statue deep in thought, ”I am sure it will end well eventually,” her gaze not leaving the statue, her hands twitched a bit, she would need to build one of these for the shop, her voice level and calm, ”If you want to tell a better story you need to use emotion, or sing it.” she was flat tone and very serious as she said that, most would think to chuckle or add in a small little smile, but Runa was very serious.

Jian shrugged a bit with a bit of a smile. "I'm not the one who wrote it," Or the one who went through, he supposed. It was just what he heard when he was training at the Crystal Palace.

He couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Nope, no kids. Just a little sister who's a bit old for telling stories now. And not a history teacher either. Just a school nurse," He could of course sing it, but as good as he is, he doesn't really enjoy singing too much in front of other people. Her tone was very serious which surprised him, but he didn't take any offence to it. After all, he really isn't any storyteller.

As the rain started to fall, he briefly looked up the sky. "It's getting a bit wet to ponder these sorts of things outside, don't you think?"

Runa looked at him, ”I am sorry you are right,” she bowed her head slightly, pulling her feet in a bit, to swish them out, starting to kick them gently she was still in wonder about this horse. Listening carefully, ”One is never too old for stories.” she gazed up to the sky, ”You just told me a story did you not? And I am sure I am much older then your sister...” she paused for a moment, ”and possibly you..”

A school nurse? That was interesting enough, she believed, she had never really been to the schools here, ”I never would have guessed” she could sense his hesitance for a moment, but she let it pass it was no business to her anyways. Her eyes narrowed at his next statement still looking at the statue, her voice flat, ”No.” what is with these humans and always wanting to get out of the rain, ” I much like the feel of the rain, water is my friend...”

He then crossed his arms and laughed slightly. "I suppose you're right. Exceptions can always be made in terms of audience," If the audience is interested and the story is gripping, then perhaps storytelling really could be for all ages.

"Yeah, that's usually not the first job people peg me for when I tell them," and that's fine. He knew that he didn't really come off as the nurturing type. But despite his complaints now and then, he did actually enjoy it. It was something he didn't expect himself doing. But then again, he didn't expect to be a Nebulae Shittenou either. Yet there he was doing that as well and wouldn't change it for the world. Funny how life works.

When the woman showed no interest in getting out of the rain, he shrugged. Well, he didn't live particularly far, so he could weather the rain for a bit longer. "To each their own I suppose," he looked back up at the sky as the droplets continued to fall.

"So, are you new to Crystal Tokyo?"

Runa blinked as the male laughed, she was expecting it, tilting her head slightly, ”Exceptions can be made in everything.” she sighed slightly looking down at the water as it started to ripple from the slow drops of the rain, only if the exceptions would ever be right and not more devastating then they needed to be.

Runa nodded slowly, it always seemed like woman in this world were nurses, though she could say the same for her own, like her mothers people were always woman, nurses' doctors, and hand maidens. Shrugging slightly, ”If that is what you like, no one is to say negative of it.”, pursing her lip slightly, ”I suppose that is like the young males who come into my store to gawk at the dolls, at least I keep them dressed now and the one who are not at not in sight.” thinking a bit more, ”Isn't that what the call to each their own?” she wasn't sure how that phrase was said but it sounded like the situation to herself.

She notice the male didn't take running as the rain fell, he just asked another question. He must have either been bored or something, though she had noticed a lot of people on this planet liked to talk, she hesitated for a moment, she really was not sure how to respond, she had been here, how long... it had been quite a few moons, but how did they say time in this planet, her mind ran through things trying to remember, but it was growing more and more difficult, looking at her fingers, she questioned more then said, ”Uhm... I am slightly, a few months... I do not visit the city often, just when I am at the shop. Is it that noticeable?”

Well. She certainly had a point, he'd giver her that. Well, you know, as long as you aren't harming anyway.

"Well, most people who've lived in Crystal Tokyo long enough often pass by the statue without a second glimpse is all," Jian replied. "I wouldn't call it very noticeable though. I guess I just remember doing the same thing when I moved here," though he was a bit more rowdy, didn't pay that much attention to the story the first time, and had honestly considered spraying graffiti on it. Not to say that he was the most terrible teenager, no far from it. But he was just your typical 'wanna-be tough' one. As many were.

"So, you own a doll shop? That's unique," he continued. "I imagine you must get a lot of different customers, then," she had mentioned the young guys, but he was sure that she must also get her fair amount of ladies, and odd middle-aged collectors as well.

Runa looked at him a bit confused, ”But it is a marvelous structure, even with its slight crack going down the neck.” she shrugged slightly, ”I believe they say I have a thing for art, and I like to look into the details of it. But since you told me the story I do not have to look it up as hard.” her words calm as the rain drops plopping on the ground.

Runa nodded slowly, ”Some which I hope never come back and others I welcome with open arms.” she really wanted to kill some of the customers that came in, she would love to extract essence from their body but that was not something she could do here, now the people at home she would, if they did something severe enough. ”All different types, some how love and some who hate.” she gave a small shrug, ”I suppose it's like an hobby.” the rain started to lighten up, Runa releasing a gently sigh.
